FIT SERVO

Servo

Same result, different approach

So what are the main differences between the FIT and the FIT SERVO ?

The difference lies in the choice of drive for the man transmission. On the FIT-SERVO, the precision gearboxes of the FIT are replaced with Servo motors. So, the one has conventional transmission and the other has an “electronic” line transmission.

So how do they stack up performance wise in the real world ?

Register accuracy – identical

Print quality – identical

Press speed – identical

Waste – identical

Set up efficiency – identical

Why then FIT SERVO ?

It about offering a choice.

It provides Etirama a more electronicaly flexible platform for adding ancillaries customised for customers involved in specialised markets i.e. movable Rotary Silkscreen & cold stamping.

To suit individual perception. Some customers have come to associate Servo with modern technology and therefore feel it imperative to specify accordingly.

What is the difference in price then ?

The FIT SERVO is negligibly more expensive than the FIT. So little in fact that it is unlikely to influence the final choice one way or another.

What is the FIT SERVO not ?

It is not an attempt to use Servos to fix the performance on an inherently unstable press design.

Your Decision just got a whole lot easier !

Design

The FIT was designed from the outset for the customer who has minimal factory space but still requires a modern up to the minute UV label press. Despite this diminutive size, the FIT shares all of the DNA with its bigger sibling the Super Print and is thus also fully compatible in terms of print cylinders, dies and aniloxes.

Performance

The FIT, like the Superprint, therefore has the same print and output performance and, also being capable of accepting the same optional ancillaries, combined makes it the sport utility of label presses. Whether short or long runs, basic three colour line work on paper or 10 colour combo process and line clear-on-clear labels, its the press you thought someone should be thinking of building. The FIT is that press.

Simplest press to operate

The FIT also rates as most probably the most operator friendly press currently available. The operator panel above is indicative of the EASY approach ; ON – OFF – GO.  So, if you have put off  (have been hesitant) investing into a new press due to possibly new operator skill levels required, the FIT will convince you differently. However, in the event that more than basic button pushing is required, Etirama has been aware of the skills shortcomings experienced by its customers and has thus invested heavily in providing a new state of the art  flexographic training facility for basic and advanced training of operators.

Affordable

Best of all the FIT is affordable. All efforts have been made to make this as affordable a proposition as possible without sacrificing any features or performance. The basic 8 colour UV press starts as from as low as US$ 150,000.00 delivered to any of the local ports.

I am confident that that once you have evaluated all the alternatives, you will share our opinion that this is currently the best value for money quality in-line UV label press out there and which should in no time pay for your investment – Ronnie Schroter MD

Who should consider buying the FIT ?

If you are currently;

  • Considering to acquire a new modern but simple, tried and tested, reliable and no-nonsense in-line flexographic label press that won’t break the bank.
  • Being persuaded to consider purchasing a used older UV in-line flexo press from Europe or the likes because it fits the money you have available. (link coming soon)
  • Undecided between Digital vs Flexo and how long to wait. (link coming soon)
  • Wanting to upgrade from water based in-line printing to UV i.e. Mark Andy 2200 or Aquaflex DB etc
  • Thinking of modernising or upgrading your existing older plant i.e. Flexo Die Cutter, Paccom etc (link for used presses coming soon)
